This is a magazine layout project for a fictional beauty magazine, using text from an article in the public domain (which I edited for length). This is a personal project where I wanted to challenge myself to make something more on-trend while still keeping plenty of white space for a clean look.
My aim with this project was to explore a more on-trend style in color and typography without sacrificing readability. I used a simple two-column grid for the spreads and tried to incorporate enough white space so that the text doesn't pull focus away from the photos.
This project was created using Adobe InDesign, with mockups created in Adobe Photoshop.
